The facilities of the laboratory occupy a total area of 560²m. The personnel offices extend in an area of 110²m and the teaching classes occupy about 250²m. Our equipment is installed in a total area of 250²m, and it is categorized in the following sectors:

• Optical and Electronical Microscopy
• Mapping and Remote Sensing

The Laboratory includes among other equipment the following:

• Electron Probe Micro-analyzer JEOL JXA 8900 Superprobe
• ICP-OES Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission  Spectrometer Optima 8000 
• Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) DJI Phantom 4
• X-ray Diffraction (XRD) D8 VENTURE
• Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS (GBC/908AAS) with Graphite furnace extension
• Photoelectric flame photometer (INTECH/1382)
• Chemical Oxygen Demand COD -BOD (Biochemical Oxyden Demand)
• Carbon Analyser Coulomat 702 SO/CS
• ​16 optical microscopes
